Sildenafil Tablets or Oral Suspension for PAH

Some medications should not be taken with sildenafil. Make sure you have discussed any other medications you are currently taking or plan to take before starting sildenafil with your doctor and pharmacist. Before starting, stopping, or changing any medications while taking sildenafil, please get the advice of your doctor or pharmacist. tell your doctor if you are taking street drugs containing nitrates ('poppers') such as amyl nitrate, amyl nitrite, or butyl nitrate while taking sildenafil. Your doctor will tell you not to take sildenafil if you are taking street drugs containing nitrates.

Store the suspension at room temperature or in a refrigerator, but do not freeze it. Dispose of any unused suspension after 60 days. Usual Adult Dose for Erectile Dysfunction

If you are taking sildenafil (Liqrev, Revatio) for PAH, do not stop taking your medication until you talk to your doctor. Call your doctor if you have any unusual problems while you are taking this medication. For erectile dysfunction, it increases blood flow to the penis when aroused. This makes it easier to get and keep an erection. For pulmonary arterial hypertension, sildenafil relaxes the blood vessels in the lungs. This lowers blood pressure and reduces strain on the heart. 10 mg/mL powder for oral suspension 20 mg, 25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg oral tablets Sildenafil is also available in an injectable form that is usually given by a healthcare provider in a hospital or clinic. Sildenafil oral tablets should be stored at room temperature, between 68 F to 77 F (20 C to 25 C). It can be exposed to temperatures between 59 F to 86 F (15 C to 30 C) for shorter periods of time, such as when transporting it.
